RHJ-JOC, Inc. Receives Award for Support of Minority Businesses

HOUSTON, SEPTEMBER 2009  --  RHJ-JOC is pleased to be recognized by the Houston Minority Business Enterprise Center for its “Achievements and Advocacy for Minority Businesses in the Houston Community”.

The award was presented to RHJ-JOC on October 22, 2007, during Minority Enterprise Development Week.  “We are thrilled to receive this award,” said Eva Jackson, Chairman of RHJ-JOC. “Our firm is committed to partnering with local and MBE/WBE firms as part of our dedication to the community and our goals often exceed those of our clients”, said Jackson.   “The theme  of this years program - Celebrating the Legacy of Innovation and Competitiveness- , truly captures our philosophy in business and capacity building”, said Jackson.  celebration

Minority Enterprise Development Week (MED Week) was designated by a presidential proclamation in 1983 to recognize and promote the achievements of minority-owned businesses and advocates of minority businesses.

MED Week brings together private and public sector officials; corporate and government administrators and coordinators; political leaders; knowledgeable business leaders and entrepreneurs to share information on key business issues and create, execute and deliver business opportunities.
