RHJ-JOC, Inc. Wins Competitive Project at Texas Southern University

HOUSTON, OCTOBER 2009  --  RHJ -JOC, Inc. is pleased to announce that is has been selected for a major demolition and reconstruction project at Texas Southern University. The award is for the demolition and redevelopment of the Science Technology Building, is part of a major infrastructure upgrade at the University.

We are pleased to have been selected for this competitive award, said Eva Jackson, Chairman of the Board, RHJ-JOC, Inc. RHJ-JOC has extensive experience with educational and institutional facilities, and the project will leverage all of our environmental and general contracting service, said Jackson. Demolition is expected to begin in the 4th quarter of 2009.

RHJ-JOC expanded its contracting services to pursue Competitively Sealed Proposals as well as Construction Manager at Risk contracts in 2009. The economic pressures facing local government and institutions are enormous and the technical services coupled with the cost and performance systems RHJ-JOC offers clients is invaluable, especially in this economic climate, said Jackson.

RHJ-JOC's work with educational institutions since 2004 includes multiple projects for the University of Houston and a full spectrum of renovation and construction projects with the Houston Community College at its Central and satellite facilities including the recently completed Alief Campus.
